5 Bridal Trends For 2018
When we think about a bride’s outfit, accessories and the overall style, we tend to imagine a romantic and soft look. But 2018 is going to be a year to dare and try new things!
1. DRESSES
Ivory and white dresses are certainly still in but black accents seem to be everywhere and are looked at as a must this year; from black laces and bows to black gown skirts and/or tops. If you want to experiment a little this year and add some edginess to your look, then black is the trend to follow.

2. MAKEUP & NAILS
The soft- romantic and “glowy” makeup look has stuck around from last year, but pops of color are forthcoming this year. You can add a deep lip color such as magenta or even burgundy for that bold look without being too dramatic with your overall look. Remember to always do a makeup trial before the big day to make sure you feel comfortable with the chosen makeup look. If bold makeup is not your thing, why not simply try a bold nail polish? This can still add that pop of color that everyone seems to be pursing this 2018.

3. HAIR
Bows are on all the runways and no matter what hairstyle you pick for your day, if you want to be stylish this 2018, hair bows are the answer. If adding black accents to your dress doesn’t really appeal to you, than a hair accessory like a black headband or a black bow would go perfectly and you will have double the flare!

4. ACCESSORIES
Oversized elements are in; you can opt for a subtle look and add an oversized item such as earrings or a necklace. The key is to not over do it, so if you are choosing this option, be very reserved with your entire look otherwise too many elements mixed with oversized items can be a definite flop.

5. SHOES
Silvers are still in but nude and/or black shoes are taking over the silver trend. Make sure the color you pick goes well with your dress. Bringing an extra pair of shoes is not only in style, but it’s a life saver! You can even wear customized snickers for that edgy yet comfy look. Think about adding your fiancés name on them for example.

Whatever the trend you’d like to try this year, always make sure to feel comfortable, beautiful, and most importantly like “you”. You don’t have to follow all the trends, just pick one or two that go well together and that fit your personality and taste.
